Thank you for checking out our band parking guide.
Our band consists of around 400 students, during the fall our students are walking from the buildings to the parking lot carrying instruments, pushing instruments and pushing props. Because of this, parking along the building creates a safety hazard for both the student and the vehicles. Remember, 14-18 year old's are pushing these items and sometimes there are technical issues and, well, sometimes there are just accidents. So, we ask that you park in a parking spot.
Tips for Parking
Always park in a parking spot
Pick an area in the parking lot where you will be every time (For ex. 2nd row, 2nd section, facing the trucks)
Teenage drivers generally park closest to the school, therefore, we have found it helpful for parents to park further away
Practice nights, come early, park in the back, bring a camp chair and enjoy watching them practice.
